The Athletes’ Villages in Yabuli are putting the finishing touches on their preparations as they gear up to welcome participants for the 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games, set to begin on February 7.
Located at the Avaunce Hotel, the main Athletes’ Village in Yabuli is focusing on providing a comfortable and convenient stay for over 500 athletes and coaches. Recognizing the importance of rest and nutrition for high-performance athletes, organizers have set up dedicated areas next to the dining hall for participants to store their baggage and equipment.
The cafeteria, capable of seating up to 450 diners, will operate 20 hours a day and offer a variety of food options to cater to diverse dietary needs. In addition to round-the-clock dining, the hotel is providing 24-hour room service to ensure that athletes have everything they need during their stay.
Yabuli, situated approximately 190 kilometers from the host city of Harbin, will be the venue for snow sports events during the Games. The area boasts three Athletes’ Villages, all committed to enhancing the experience for visiting teams.
“Of course, there are things we still worry about, such as what if our services can’t meet their needs? So we continue to refine every detail and improve in all aspects,” said Fang Yejun, director of the Athletes’ Village at the Avaunce Hotel. “When athletes are here during the Chinese New Year, we hope to enhance their experience and make them feel at home.”
