Senior officials revealed plans during Thursday's inaugural press conference at the newly established event press center in Beijing.
Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the anniversary's global significance, stating: "This commemoration honors not only China's sacrifices but also the united international effort against fascism." Cultural authorities announced a series of exhibitions and theatrical productions that will tour multiple countries, while military representatives confirmed participation from veteran organizations worldwide.
The Beijing municipal government outlined logistical preparations for the main September 3 ceremony, including transportation plans and cultural activities open to international visitors. A digital archive containing wartime documents from 35 countries will debut as part of the commemorations.
