224 Resettlement Sites Established for Earthquake Victims in Xizang

More than 61,000 people have been affected by a magnitude-6.8 earthquake that struck southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region amid bitter cold weather. Local officials report that 224 resettlement sites have been set up to accommodate 47,500 relocated residents.
