As anticipation builds for the 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games, China Media Group (CMG) has officially launched its reporting team for the upcoming continental competition.
At a launch ceremony held in Harbin, CMG President Shen Haixiong delivered a keynote address highlighting the event’s significance as a platform to showcase CMG’s broadcasting capabilities and technological advancements. He emphasized the importance of adhering to international broadcasting standards while shaping new trends in sports media in the mobile internet era.
Shen reiterated CMG’s goal of enhancing global recognition of the “CMG Productions” brand and seizing the opportunity to deepen international communications during this major sporting event.
With more than 1,100 personnel deployed, CMG is set to provide comprehensive coverage as the exclusive broadcaster of the games. Collaborating across various platforms and channels, including CCTV-5, the team aims to deliver an engaging portrayal of the Asian Winter Games.
CMG’s state-of-the-art A5 broadcasting vehicles have already arrived in Harbin. The team is busy setting up systems to ensure full 4K quality coverage, alongside the integration of cutting-edge 8K technology for key sports like short track speed skating and figure skating.
The 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games, commencing on February 7th in the capital of Heilongjiang Province, promise to be a showcase of athletic excellence and technological innovation, with CMG playing a pivotal role in bringing the event to audiences worldwide.
