China Dominates Indonesia 6-0, Eyes Futsal World Cup Berth

China's women's futsal team delivered a commanding performance on home soil, defeating Indonesia 6-0 to secure a spot in the AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup semifinals. The victory in Hohhot keeps the hosts unbeaten in the tournament and positions them one step closer to qualifying for the inaugural Women's Futsal World Cup in the Philippines this November.

Substitute Zhan Zewen ignited China's momentum with a thunderous strike in the 13th minute, breaking Indonesia's defense. Fan Yuqiu doubled the lead shortly after halftime with a clinical follow-up shot, followed by a rapid-fire goal from Zhang Rui. Jiang Xiaoyu, Yu Ting, and Xiong Jing sealed the decisive win with three late goals, showcasing China's depth and precision.

Midfielder Fan Yuqiu emphasized the team's determination: "How many chances do we get in our life… We are aiming for the World Cup. As long as we perform well, there won’t be a problem."

China now faces Thailand in the semifinals, with the top three teams earning World Cup slots. The squad’s dominant group-stage record and quarterfinal flourish have heightened expectations for their historic World Cup pursuit.
