China Dominates Diving World Cup Super Final with Perfect 9-Gold Haul

China showcased its diving supremacy by winning all nine gold medals at the World Aquatics Diving World Cup Super Final in Beijing, capping off the three-day event with a flawless performance. The competition, held at the iconic Water Cube – host of the 2008 and 2022 Olympics – drew over 21,000 spectators and 75 athletes from 17 countries and regions.

On the final day, Chen Jia secured victory in the women's 3m springboard with 382.05 points, extending her unbeaten streak across three World Cup stops this season. Olympic champion Chen Yiwen took silver, while Australia's Maddison Keeney claimed bronze. The men's 10m platform saw Zhu Zifeng deliver a masterclass, earning perfect scores on multiple dives to finish with 571.90 points and clinch the Best Male Diver award.

Teen sensation Chen Yuxi, who claimed three golds earlier in the meet, was named Best Female Diver. Local fans erupted as Chinese divers Zhu Zifeng and Cheng Zilong both achieved perfect 10s during preliminary rounds, underscoring the team's technical precision.

The event served as a key test for divers ahead of the Paris Olympics, with China demonstrating its depth across disciplines. The Water Cube's transformation into a winter sports venue for the 2022 Games has now successfully returned to its aquatic roots, reaffirming Beijing's status as a global sports hub.
