China’s Springtime Dialogue: Ankara Event Highlights Global Opportunities

Global leaders and experts convened in Ankara on March 12 for a high-level dialogue focused on China's economic growth and its expanding partnerships with Türkiye. Titled 'China in Springtime: Sharing Opportunities with the World,' the event underscored China's commitment to fostering international collaboration and innovation-driven development.

Organized by China Media Group (CMG), the gathering brought together over 150 attendees, including Türkiye's policymakers, business leaders, and academics. Discussions centered on China's high-quality development model and its potential to strengthen cross-regional ties, particularly in energy, technology, and cultural exchange.

Shen Haixiong, CMG president and vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, emphasized China's role as a “stabilizing force” in global markets during his virtual address. 'China’s confidence [in reform] injects stability into the world economy,' he stated, highlighting initiatives to expand market access and digital infrastructure collaborations.

CMG announced plans to launch platforms for cross-border media partnerships and cultural exchange programs, aiming to amplify narratives of mutual growth. Shen noted that such efforts align with China’s vision of 'shared modernity,' which prioritizes inclusive progress for emerging economies.

The event signals deepening China-Türkiye relations as both nations explore synergies in trade corridors and green energy projects. Analysts anticipate strengthened bilateral agreements following the dialogue.
