China has delivered four batches of humanitarian supplies to Gaza since October 2023, addressing urgent needs amid the Palestine-Israel conflict, according to Li Min, spokesperson for the China International Development Cooperation Agency. The assistance included food, medicines, tents, blankets, mobile toilets, and medical equipment such as ventilators.
Speaking at a Beijing press briefing, Li emphasized China's commitment to working with Egypt, Jordan, and UN agencies to develop innovative aid delivery methods while prioritizing Palestinian input. “We remain focused on sustainable relief solutions that respect local needs,” he stated, signaling potential new cross-regional cooperation frameworks.
The announcement highlights China’s growing role in Middle Eastern humanitarian efforts and aligns with broader diplomatic engagement in conflict resolution. Analysts note the aid initiative could strengthen multilateral partnerships while supporting Gaza’s civilian population.
