Hong Kong's Ocean Park witnessed an exciting event on Sunday as the first locally born giant panda cubs made their public debut, just a day after turning six months old. The adorable twin cubs, affectionately referred to as \"Elder Sister\" and \"Little Brother,\" were born on August 15 last year to Ying Ying and Le Le, the giant pandas gifted to Hong Kong by the central government in 2007.
The arrival of these cubs marks a significant milestone for Ocean Park, as Hong Kong now boasts the largest number of captive pandas outside the Chinese mainland. Alongside the cubs and their parents, two other pandas, An An and Ke Ke, who arrived last year, contribute to this esteemed collection.
In celebration of the new additions, members of the public are invited to submit their name suggestions for the cubs. The official names are set to be announced in the first half of this year, offering fans and visitors a chance to participate in this joyous occasion.
