Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday, according to the Kyiv presidency. The call occurred shortly after Trump announced that he had spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The presidency in Kyiv reported that the discussion between Zelenskyy and Trump lasted approximately one hour. This followed Trump's earlier statement that he intended to speak with Zelenskyy after his conversation with Putin.
