Cultural Ties Strengthen as Chinese and Kyrgyz First Ladies Connect

In a heartfelt meeting on Wednesday in Beijing, Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, engaged in a warm conversation over tea with Aigul Japarova, wife of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov. This meeting coincided with Japarova's accompanying state visit to China during the Spring Festival.

Peng extended a warm welcome to Japarova, emphasizing the long-standing friendship between China and Kyrgyzstan. She expressed her hopes for continued frequent exchanges and the building of close connections between the peoples of both nations.

Cultural exchanges were highlighted by Peng as a vital bridge for people-to-people interactions. She expressed optimism that such exchanges and cooperation would flourish between China and Kyrgyzstan.
