President Xi Visits Flood-Affected Residents in Northeast China

On Wednesday, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, braved the cold to visit residents affected by recent floods in a village in northeast China's Liaoning Province.

The village of Zhujiagou, located under the administration of Suizhong County in Huludao City, was among the areas impacted by severe flooding. President Xi met with locals, assessing the damage and expressing his concern for their well-being.

The visit comes ahead of the Spring Festival, the most significant festival for the Chinese people, which falls on January 29 this year. President Xi's trip underscores the government's commitment to supporting affected communities and ensuring that residents can celebrate the festival with hope and resilience.
