On Monday, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, extended festive greetings to members of non-CPC political parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), personages without party affiliation, and other members of the united front ahead of the Spring Festival.

Addressing critical and challenging problems, Xi stressed the need for effective supervision in protecting the Yangtze River ecosystem, highlighting environmental sustainability as a key priority.
Regarding the private sector, Xi Jinping noted that the ACFIC should guide private enterprises in maintaining enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and bolstering confidence in development. He emphasized the importance of establishing and improving modern corporate systems with distinctive Chinese features, contributing to the nation's economic vitality and innovation capacity.
