Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Thursday inspected Shenyang, the capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province.
With the Spring Festival approaching on January 29 this year, Xi visited a food market and a residential community in Shenyang. He learned about the supply of goods during the holiday season, measures to meet residents' daily needs, and efforts to optimize public services. Xi also took note of the progress made in improving people's lives.
