President Xi emphasized that a strong China-Russia partnership is crucial for addressing external challenges. He expressed his readiness to work with President Putin beyond 2025 to elevate bilateral ties, promote mutual development, and uphold international fairness and justice.
\"The two sides should continue to deepen strategic cooperation, firm up mutual support, and safeguard the legitimate interests of both countries,\" Xi stated, highlighting the need to consolidate and expand bilateral relations and foster practical collaboration.
President Putin acknowledged the longstanding trust and support between Russia and China, noting that both nations have always treated each other as equals. He affirmed that cooperation serves the interests of both peoples and will remain unaffected by changes in the international situation.
\"Cooperation between our two countries will never be impacted by changes in the international situation,\" Putin remarked.
The two leaders also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern and agreed to maintain strategic communication throughout the year.
