Amid increasing global uncertainties, Xi emphasized that a strong partnership between the two nations will help address external challenges.
\"In 2025, I am ready to work with President Putin to continue guiding China-Russia relations to greater heights,\" Xi stated. He highlighted the importance of leveraging the stability and resilience of their bilateral relations to cope with the unpredictable international environment, promote mutual development and revitalization, and uphold international fairness and justice.
Xi called for deeper strategic cooperation and mutual support to safeguard the legitimate interests of both countries. He urged both sides to consolidate and expand their relations and promote in-depth practical cooperation.
President Putin echoed Xi's sentiments, noting that Russia and China have always trusted and supported each other, treating one another as equals. \"Our cooperation serves the interests of both peoples and will never be impacted by changes in the international situation,\" Putin affirmed.
During their discussions, the leaders also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern. They agreed to maintain strategic communication throughout the year to further strengthen their partnership.
