The meeting focused on discussing reports from the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, following deliberations on the work reports of leading Party members’ groups from the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC), the State Council, the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the Supreme People’s Court (SPC), and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate (SPP), as well as the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee.

A central topic was the comprehensive promotion of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin, a region vital to China’s environment and economy.
