CES 2025 Kicks Off in Las Vegas, Welcoming Global Tech Leaders

Las Vegas, USA — The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, organized by the Consumer Technology Association, opened its doors to the public on Tuesday, drawing together a diverse assembly of global companies, industry executives, and government leaders.

The annual event, renowned as a bellwether for technological innovation, spans a vast array of sectors including artificial intelligence, digital health, energy transition, mobility, and quantum computing. “There is great momentum heading into the show with a record 3,400+ Innovation Award submissions, over 4,500 exhibitors including roughly 1,400 startups, and 1,100 speakers for over 300 conference sessions,” said Gary Shapiro, CEO and vice chair of the Consumer Technology Association, in a press release.

This year, companies from the Chinese mainland continue to play a pivotal role at CES. According to the exhibitor list displayed on the official CES website, nearly 1,500 companies from the Chinese mainland are participating, accounting for around 30 percent of the total number of exhibitors. Their presence underscores the significant contributions and innovations emerging from the region in the global tech landscape.
