In a significant boost to regional space collaboration, China on Friday successfully launched a Pakistani satellite along with two other satellites into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.
The Pakistani satellite, named PRSC-EO1, was launched at 12:07 p.m. Beijing Time aboard a Long March-2D carrier rocket. The satellite entered its planned orbit successfully, marking a milestone in China-Pakistan technological cooperation.
Alongside PRSC-EO1, the rocket also deployed two other satellites, Tianlu-1 and Lantan-1, into orbit. These satellites are expected to contribute to various fields such as Earth observation, disaster management, and technological experimentation.
This mission signifies the 556th flight of the Long March carrier rocket series, underscoring China’s expanding capabilities and commitment to international space endeavors.
