On a mission to uncover China’s dynamic innovation landscape, host Cao Mengxin from the Hebei International Communication Center and Bulgarian educator Nedelina Georgieva from Hebei University of Foreign Languages visited the Baoding Zhongguancun Innovation Center in the Baoding National High-tech Zone.
The Baoding Zhongguancun Innovation Center, unveiled in April 2015, is the first innovation center established by Zhongguancun outside Beijing. Strategically positioned in the heart of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic corridor, the center aims to become a landmark of industrial collaboration, bridging resources between the Chinese mainland’s capital and its neighboring Hebei province.
Adopting the development model of “one center, one base, and one park,” the center focuses on building a robust “Zhongguancun” innovation system. It serves as a catalyst for scientific and technological achievements, fostering an ecosystem where innovation thrives and businesses flourish.
During their visit, Cao and Georgieva explored the state-of-the-art facilities and engaged with entrepreneurs driving the next wave of technological advancement. They witnessed firsthand how the collaboration between Beijing and Hebei is unlocking new high-tech opportunities, contributing to China’s position as a global innovation leader.
The Baoding Zhongguancun Innovation Center exemplifies the synergy between regions in promoting innovation and economic growth. As Beijing’s technological expertise combines with Hebei’s industrial strengths, the center stands as a testament to the potential of regional collaboration in shaping the future of high-tech industries in Asia.
