Further along, Wuyou Temple beckons with its serene atmosphere and rich Buddhist heritage. “Wuyou Temple is known for its intricate architecture and the Arhat Hall, which houses hundreds of lifelike clay sculptures,” shares Wang. “It’s a place for contemplation and connecting with the spiritual essence of Leshan.”
Journeying Through Mahao Cave Tombs
For history enthusiasts, the Mahao Cave Tombs offer a glimpse into the Han Dynasty. Carved into the cliffs, these ancient tombs are adorned with historical carvings. “The tombs provide valuable insights into the funerary customs and art of that era,” notes Wang.
