Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin on Wednesday in St. Petersburg, Russia. The meeting highlighted the strengthening ties between China and Serbia, focusing on mutual support and cooperation across various sectors.
Wang Yi, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, expressed China’s appreciation for Serbia’s steadfast friendship and unwavering support for China’s core interests. He affirmed China’s commitment to supporting Serbia in safeguarding its sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
“China will continue to uphold fairness and justice in the international community,” Wang Yi stated, emphasizing the importance of mutual respect and cooperation on the global stage.
Deputy Prime Minister Vulin conveyed Serbia’s high regard for China’s principled stance and equal treatment in international affairs. He expressed gratitude for China’s long-standing valuable support.
“Serbia looks forward to learning from China’s successful experiences and advancing cooperation in various fields to achieve more positive results,” Vulin added.
