Defending the title he won at the pandemic-delayed Tokyo Games in 2021, Cao’s victory completed China’s sweep of all eight diving golds in Paris.
In table tennis, Sun Yingsha, Chen Meng, and Wang Manyu delivered a flawless performance against Japan’s Hina Hayata, Miwa Harimoto, and Miu Hirano, winning the women’s team final 3-0. This triumph ensured China secured all five gold medals in table tennis, along with one silver, in the French capital.
