In a significant stride toward fostering regional academic collaboration, Wuhan University, one of China’s leading institutions, has partnered with esteemed Japanese universities including Waseda University, the University of Tokyo, and Kyoto University to host the Overseas Academic Week in Tokyo.
The four-day event, which commenced on Tuesday, revolves around the theme “Regional Studies with an Asian Perspective.” It features a series of academic activities designed to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation between scholars from China and Japan.
The opening ceremony attracted over 150 experts and scholars from both countries, highlighting the strong interest in addressing regional issues through collaborative research and dialogue. Participants will engage in seminars, workshops, and networking sessions aimed at deepening insights into Asian regional studies.
