China’s Gymnastics Team Arrives at Olympic Village for Paris Summer Olympics

China’s gymnastics team has arrived at the Olympic Village in Paris ahead of the Summer Olympics, marking the beginning of their quest for gold at the prestigious event. The gymnastics competitions are set to take place at the iconic Bercy Arena, which will also host trampoline and basketball events.

The gymnastics action kicks off on Saturday, July 27, with 14 gold medals up for grabs. The Bercy Arena, resembling a pyramid and covered with grass, was completed in 1984 and has hosted numerous high-profile events, including the Paris Tennis Masters and European Handball Championships.

The China Media Group (CMG) is responsible for the international live broadcast signal of the gymnastics events in Paris, introducing upgraded techniques such as multi-camera replays to enhance the viewing experience.

Lu Bin, the deputy leader of China’s gymnastics team, expressed excitement about the upcoming competitions. “We’ve been training in Monceau, which is 300 kilometers away from Paris, and the men’s team arrived at the Olympic Village one day before the women,” he said. “The male athletes are getting better and better and made adjustments in their last training session, while the females had an open training session, and we are quite excited about the competitions.”

At the Tokyo Summer Olympics three years ago, the Chinese gymnastics squad claimed three golds, three silvers, and two bronzes. As they settle into the Olympic Village, the team is looking forward to building on their past success and demonstrating their strengths on the world stage.
