China and Venezuela have pledged to strengthen their strategic partnership as Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his Venezuelan counterpart Yvan Gil Pinto in Beijing on Wednesday. The meeting, held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, underscored their commitment to collaboration on global and bilateral issues.
Wang Yi, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, emphasized the importance of developing a forward-looking strategy to infuse new dimensions into the all-weather strategic partnership between China and Venezuela.
