Amid the rapid surge in digital development, China has officially recognized 19 new professions, signaling a significant expansion in the nation’s workforce landscape. On Friday, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MHRSS) announced the inclusion of roles such as generative artificial intelligence (AI) system application specialist and network anchor—a profession akin to online news anchors or live-streamers.
