Harbin, China — Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) on Friday in northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, fostering educational collaboration between Russia and China. Putin announced that St. Petersburg State University will soon open an education center in partnership with HIT, which will host over 1,500 Russian and Chinese students.
