Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan attended a heartfelt farewell ceremony hosted by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and his wife Tamara Vucic in Belgrade. The event marked the culmination of Xi’s significant visit to Serbia, highlighting the deepening ties between the two nations.

As the visit concluded, Vucic and Tamara accompanied Xi and Peng to the airport, where two Serbian air force fighters escorted the Chinese delegation’s plane, symbolizing the strong bond between the nations. Following his departure from Serbia, President Xi arrived in Budapest to begin his state visit to Hungary at the invitation of Hungarian President Tamas Sulyok and Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The visit is expected to further enhance China’s relations with Central and Eastern European countries.
