Pelicans Beat Warriors 114-109, Climb to Sixth in Western Conference

On Friday night, the New Orleans Pelicans secured a crucial 114-109 victory over the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. With this win, the Pelicans climbed to sixth place in the Western Conference standings, with just one regular-season game remaining.

Both teams faced the challenge of back-to-back games. The Pelicans, coming off an impressive offensive performance where they scored 135 points on 57% shooting against the Sacramento Kings, struggled to find their shooting rhythm in the first quarter. They missed 12 of their 14 jump shots, including seven of eight attempts from beyond the arc, managing only 17 points in the opening period.

Meanwhile, the Warriors also encountered shooting difficulties but capitalized on early offensive opportunities to secure easy baskets, leading by nine points at the end of the first quarter. Despite the slow start, the game intensified as both teams vied for a pivotal win in the tight Western Conference playoff race.
