President Xi Jinping Opens Third Belt and Road Forum in Beijing

The third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) commenced today in Beijing, drawing global attention to China’s ambitious development initiative. Under the theme “High-quality Belt and Road Cooperation: Together for Common Development and Prosperity,” the forum seeks to enhance international collaboration and promote shared growth among participating nations.

Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony, emphasizing the importance of mutual cooperation and the pursuit of common goals. “The Belt and Road Initiative has become a platform for open and inclusive development,” President Xi stated, highlighting the progress made since the initiative’s inception a decade ago.

Delegates from various countries, international organizations, and business sectors are attending the forum to discuss key issues such as infrastructure development, trade facilitation, and cultural exchange. The event aims to foster deeper ties and identify new opportunities for economic and social advancement across Asia and beyond.

The Belt and Road Initiative, launched in 2013, has evolved into one of the largest global cooperation platforms, involving more than 140 countries and international organizations. This year’s forum is expected to result in new agreements and partnerships that will further solidify the initiative’s role in promoting international connectivity and sustainable development.
