The Red Cross Society of China has provided $100,000 in emergency funding to Sri Lanka's relief operations, with additional government assistance en route. Chinese businesses and community groups in Sri Lanka have also raised 10 million Sri Lankan rupees ($32,500) through local donation drives.

International Solidarity Strengthens Recovery Efforts

Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has called for global support during Sunday's national address, emphasizing the need for collaborative reconstruction. The Chinese Embassy in Colombo confirmed ongoing coordination with Sri Lankan authorities to ensure efficient aid distribution.
