Tech Innovation and Cross-Border Collaboration Take Center Stage
At the 2025 Bund Summit in China, experts emphasized Asia's growing influence in reshaping global economic frameworks. He Dong, chief economist of the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office, noted: 'Regional cooperation mechanisms are accelerating digital transformation across supply chains, particularly through blockchain integration and AI-driven logistics.'
Alfred Schipke of the National University of Singapore's East Asian Institute added: 'The ASEAN+3 countries now account for 34% of global green tech patents, signaling a fundamental shift in innovation leadership.'
Aviation Sector Soars with Sustainable Partnerships
Meanwhile, Airbus celebrated the operational launch of its Tianjin final assembly line – the company's first fully automated facility outside Europe. CEO Guillaume Faury told CGTN: 'This $2.1 billion project demonstrates our commitment to China-Europe industrial synergy. By 2030, 30% of our global fleet will incorporate hydrogen-compatible designs developed through this partnership.'
The developments come as China's civil aviation authority reports a 17% year-on-year increase in regional air travel demand, with sustainable aviation fuel consumption tripling since 2023.
