“Only a few things can make you happy, and my life goal is to bring joy to more people,” says Xiaoxiao, also known as Phuntsok Wangmo, a vibrant Gen Z comedian whose passion for entertaining has carried her to the prestigious Tibetan New Year Gala stage.
With eyes that twinkle and a smile that lights up the room, Xiaoxiao radiates enthusiasm every time she discusses her craft. “When I’m performing, it’s like I’m sharing a piece of my happiness with the world,” she says, often breaking into a joyful dance when particularly elated.
Initially, Xiaoxiao followed her family’s expectations, attempting the civil service exam twice. “I wanted to make them proud, but deep down, I knew my heart belonged to the stage,” she recalls. The turning point came when she decided to pursue her true passion: making people laugh.
With unwavering support from her loved ones, Xiaoxiao embraced the world of comedy. Her unique blend of humor and genuine warmth quickly gained her popularity among audiences. “There’s nothing more fulfilling than hearing the sound of laughter,” she shares.
