Anisimova Stuns Gauff in China Open Semifinals, Faces Noskova in Final

In a commanding display at the China Open in Beijing, Amanda Anisimova ended Coco Gauff's title defense with a decisive 6-1, 6-2 victory during Saturday's all-American semifinal clash. The 22-year-old Anisimova dominated both sets, securing 5-0 leads early and wrapping up the match in just 58 minutes. This marks her fourth final appearance this year, following runner-up finishes at the US Open and Wimbledon.

"I knew I had to bring my best against Coco," Anisimova said post-match. "This win means a lot, and I'm thrilled for the final."

Anisimova will face Czech rising star Linda Noskova, who edged past Jessica Pegula in a grueling three-set thriller (6-3, 1-6, 7-6(6)). At 20, Noskova became the youngest Czech player to reach a WTA 1000 final since the tournament tier's inception in 2009. Reflecting on her semifinal, she admitted: "It came down to two points. This win is something I'll treasure."

The final, set for Sunday evening, promises high stakes as Anisimova seeks her fourth career title while Noskova aims for a breakthrough victory on one of tennis's biggest stages.
