China’s Security Tech Innovations Captivate Global Audience at Expo

Over 10,000 international delegates and tech enthusiasts converged in Lianyungang last week for China's 2nd Public Security Technology Expo, where cutting-edge solutions for urban safety took center stage. The four-day event showcased artificial intelligence-powered surveillance systems, next-generation emergency response drones, and integrated smart city platforms designed to predict and prevent crimes.

"This expo demonstrates how technology can build societal resilience," remarked Singaporean cybersecurity analyst Raj Patel, one of 56 country representatives attending. Interactive exhibits allowed visitors to test facial recognition systems with 99.8% accuracy rates and observe real-time data fusion from traffic cameras, environmental sensors, and social media feeds.

Notable innovations included earthquake early-warning interfaces being adopted in Belt and Road partner nations, and crowd-control robots capable of scanning 5,000 faces per minute. Organizers emphasized these technologies' roles in safeguarding major events like the upcoming Asian Games while maintaining personal privacy protections.

With 35% of exhibitors reporting partnership inquiries from Southeast Asian and African nations, the event highlights growing global demand for integrated security solutions as urbanization accelerates worldwide.
