The "One Home: Shared Future" Visual Storytelling Initiative, launched by CGTN in collaboration with global partners, has become a vibrant platform for youth worldwide to showcase their hopes through photography and multimedia art.
The project’s 11th published collection reveals striking themes: climate-conscious urban designs from Jakarta, cross-cultural collaboration projects in Nairobi, and tech-driven sustainability prototypes developed by students in Shenzhen. A Uygur participant from northwest China contributed images documenting traditional water conservation methods meeting modern engineering.
"These works transcend borders while honoring local identities," noted a UN representative involved in the initiative. Business analysts highlight how the submissions align with Asia’s growing focus on green infrastructure, with several concepts already attracting interest from urban developers in Singapore and the Chinese mainland.
For academics, the collection offers fresh insights into Gen Z’s priorities.
