As the United Nations prepares to celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2025, a groundbreaking visual storytelling initiative titled One Home: Shared Future is amplifying youth perspectives on global unity. Spearheaded by CGTN in collaboration with international partners, the project invites young creators worldwide to document everyday moments that reflect their aspirations for humanity's collective tomorrow.
The third installment of submitted works reveals striking themes: a farmer in Bangladesh teaching climate-resilient techniques, a cross-border robotics team in Southeast Asia, and a multicultural street festival in Nairobi. These images emphasize interconnectedness amid diversity, aligning with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
"When youth frame the narrative, we see solutions where others see challenges," said UN Under-Secretary-General Amina Mohammed during the project's launch.
With submissions from over 90 countries and regions, the initiative serves as both an artistic archive and a policy inspiration tool. Analysts note its timing coincides with renewed global debates about multilateral cooperation in addressing climate change, technological equity, and cultural preservation.
