Xi Jinping Celebrates 60 Years of Xizang’s Development

Chinese President Xi Jinping attended a grand cultural gala in Lhasa on Wednesday, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Xizang Autonomous Region. The event highlighted the region's socio-economic progress and cultural vibrancy under China's policies of reform and opening up.

Xi, who is also General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, joined senior officials including Wang Huning and Cai Qi at the celebration. The gala featured song and dance performances depicting Xizang's transformation into a modern socialist society, emphasizing unity and prosperity.
