China Gears Up for 3rd International Supply Chain Expo: Key Updates

China's State Council Information Office unveiled detailed preparations for the upcoming 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo during a Tuesday press briefing, signaling strengthened efforts to stabilize global industrial networks. Officials from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) outlined plans to expand international participation in the November event, which has already attracted registrations from 150 countries and regions.

"This expo serves as a vital platform for deepening industrial collaboration amid evolving global economic dynamics," stated Ren Hongbin, CCPIT Chairperson. The event will feature five specialized supply chain zones focusing on advanced manufacturing, green agriculture, clean energy, digital technology, and healthcare innovation.

With 200,000 square meters of exhibition space booked in Beijing, organizers emphasize the expo's role in addressing supply chain bottlenecks through public-private partnerships. Recent data shows a 28% year-on-year increase in confirmed international exhibitors, particularly from ASEAN countries and the Middle East.

Analysts highlight the expo's timing as strategic, coinciding with China's push for high-quality development and technological self-reliance. The conference also revealed plans for parallel forums on cross-border logistics optimization and sustainable supply chain financing.
