A massive overnight wave of Russian drones and missiles struck Ukraine this Tuesday, resulting in at least 10 deaths and leaving dozens of residents injured across multiple cities.
In the capital city of Kyiv, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that four people were killed and 58 others wounded, with 40 of the injured requiring hospitalization. The strikes sparked widespread fires, causing significant damage to several apartment buildings and non-residential facilities. Most notably, a nine-story apartment building in the central Podilskyi district partially collapsed following a suspected missile strike.
The city of Dnipro, located in central Ukraine, also suffered severe impacts. According to reports from the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, six people were killed and 36 others were injured during the attacks.
Ukraine's State Service for Emergencies confirmed that search and rescue operations remained underway as of Tuesday morning, as teams worked to locate survivors and secure the damaged sites.
