US and Nigerian Forces Eliminate ISIS Global Second-in-Command in Africa

In a significant blow to global terrorism, US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, the second-in-command of ISIS globally, has been eliminated in Africa. The operation was a joint effort between United States and Nigerian forces.

Taking to Truth Social to share the news, President Trump revealed that intelligence sources were instrumental in tracking al-Minuki's movements. "Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS globally, thought he could hide in Africa, but little did he know we had sources who kept us informed on what he was doing," the President stated.

The removal of such a high-ranking leader is expected to have a ripple effect on the organization's ability to coordinate attacks. President Trump emphasized that al-Minuki will no longer be able to terrorize the people of Africa or orchestrate operations targeting Americans, noting that ISIS's global operational capacity has been "greatly diminished" as a result.

Beyond the tactical success, the operation highlights a critical strategic collaboration between Washington and Abuja. President Trump expressed his gratitude to the Nigerian government, praising their "partnership" in the successful mission to neutralize one of the world's most wanted terror figures.
