China and Serbia Elevate Strategic Partnership Following President Vucic’s Visit

In a significant step toward deepening bilateral ties, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic have concluded a series of in-depth talks during President Vucic's state visit to the Chinese mainland. According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, the discussions covered a wide array of bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest, resulting in broad common understandings.

The visit was marked by a high level of tangible cooperation. The two presidents witnessed the signing of 23 cooperation documents, with an additional 10 documents concluded, underscoring a robust commitment to mutual growth. Furthermore, both nations issued joint statements focusing on the continuous development of a China-Serbia community with a shared future in the new era and the advancement of the four global initiatives.

Adding a personal touch to the diplomatic success, President Xi awarded President Vucic the Friendship Medal. This honor recognizes Vucic's long-term dedication to promoting friendship between the two nations and his pivotal contributions to the comprehensive strategic partnership.

Beyond the capital, President Vucic's itinerary included visits to Shanghai and other key regions, highlighting the multifaceted nature of the partnership. This state visit is expected to inject fresh vitality into the comprehensive strategic cooperation between China and Serbia, further strengthening their shared vision for the future.
