China and Uzbekistan Strengthen Strategic Ties for a Shared Future

In a significant move to bolster regional stability and economic growth, China and Uzbekistan have reaffirmed their commitment to promoting mutually beneficial cooperation. This strategic alignment was highlighted during the eighth meeting of the China-Uzbekistan Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee held in Beijing.

Chinese Vice Premier Liu Guozhong, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, co-chaired the session alongside Uzbekistan's Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov. The meeting focused on enriching the "China-Uzbekistan community with a shared future," a vision aimed at bringing tangible benefits to the people of both nations.

Vice Premier Liu emphasized that China is dedicated to following the blueprint established by the two heads of state. He stressed the importance of the committee's coordinating role in deepening high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and supporting one another on core interests.
