Peru’s Xpertus Robot Greets Global Audience with AI Innovation

Peru's first humanoid robot, Xpertus, made its international media debut this week by greeting viewers of CGTN America in a landmark demonstration of Latin American technological advancement. Developed by Glexco – Peru's pioneering robotics firm – in collaboration with Chinese technology partners, the android showcased seamless multilingual capabilities during an interview with correspondent Dan Collyns.

The bipedal machine, standing at 1.6 meters, represents a milestone in cross-Pacific technological cooperation. "Hello to all our friends watching," Xpertus stated in clear English during the broadcast, its facial recognition systems actively analyzing studio lighting conditions.

Industry analysts note this development positions Peru as an emerging player in service robotics, with potential applications in healthcare and education sectors across South America. The project's success highlights growing technological exchanges between Asian and Latin American innovators.
