China-Poland Economic Synergy Strengthens at Hainan Expo

At the sixth China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) in Hainan Province, Polish regional leader Sebastian Ciemnoczołowski emphasized deepening economic collaboration between Poland and the Chinese mainland, framing it as a cornerstone for resilient global supply chains. The event, held this week, spotlighted China’s role as a strategic hub for European businesses seeking market expansion.

Ciemnoczołowski, Marshal of Poland’s Lubuskie Voivodeship, noted that China’s specialized trade zones offer European firms a gateway to broader Asian markets. “Leveraging these platforms ensures efficiency and security for international trade,” he told CGTN, highlighting two decades of regional partnerships and recently renewed cooperation agreements.

Drawing parallels between the two nations, he praised their shared resilience and work ethic. “Our histories reflect a relentless drive for economic progress,” he said, expressing optimism for strengthened cross-border innovation and investment. The renewed agreements aim to enhance industrial synergies, particularly in green technology and logistics.

With Poland serving as a key EU trade partner for the Chinese mainland, analysts view this collaboration as critical for stabilizing Europe-Asia supply chains amid global economic uncertainties. The expo, attended by over 3,000 brands worldwide, underscores China’s post-pandemic reopening and its appeal to overseas investors.
