Shenzhen’s ICIF 2026 Sparks Surge in International Arrivals

The vibrant city of Shenzhen, a leading tech hub on the Chinese mainland, has seen a significant spike in international arrivals today as the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) officially opens its doors.

Kicking off on May 21, the event is poised to become a major nexus for global creativity and business. Organizers expect the fair to draw approximately 35,000 overseas professionals representing 110 different countries and regions, highlighting the growing global interest in the region's cultural and creative sectors.

The scale of this year's ICIF is further underscored by the participation of 310 overseas exhibitors from 65 countries and regions. Utilizing a hybrid approach, these exhibitors are engaging with attendees through both physical booths and online platforms, ensuring a broad and inclusive reach.

As a center for innovation, Shenzhen's hosting of the ICIF reinforces its role in bridging technology and the arts. The fair will continue to facilitate international exchange and foster new partnerships until it concludes on May 25.
