China’s Shenzhou-23 Successfully Docks with China Space Station

In a significant milestone for space exploration, China's Shenzhou-23 crewed spaceship successfully docked with the China Space Station early Monday morning, May 25, 2026.

According to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA), the spacecraft completed its orbital entry and precisely docked with the radial port of the Tianhe core module at 2:45 a.m. The seamless operation occurred approximately 3.5 hours after the initial rocket launch, showcasing the efficiency and precision of the mission's flight trajectory.

Following the successful docking procedure, the three Chinese astronauts transitioned from the Shenzhou-23 spacecraft into the Tianhe core module. Upon their arrival, they were greeted by the in-orbit crew of Shenzhou-21, marking the start of a new phase of collaborative research and operations aboard the station.

This achievement continues to strengthen the operational capabilities of the China Space Station, providing a platform for advanced scientific experiments and contributing to the global body of knowledge regarding long-term human presence in space.
