Global Creativity Unleashed: 22nd International Cultural Industries Fair Opens in Shenzhen

The 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) officially opened this Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. The event serves as a massive hub for artistic innovation and commercial exchange, drawing more than 6,300 exhibitors from across the Chinese mainland and overseas.

With over 120,000 cultural products on display, the fair highlights the dynamic intersection of art and industry. This year's edition emphasizes global inclusivity, attracting 310 overseas exhibitors from 65 countries and regions. Organizers expect the event to welcome more than 35,000 overseas professional visitors, underscoring Shenzhen's role as a gateway for international cultural dialogue.

A standout feature of the 22nd ICIF is the introduction of the first dedicated exhibition zone for APEC member economies. This specialized area showcases a rich tapestry of cultural tourism achievements, specialty products, intangible cultural heritage items, and regional cuisine, providing visitors with a comprehensive glimpse into the diverse heritage of the Asia-Pacific region.

To further bridge the gap between local creativity and global markets, the fair has also launched a new cross-border e-commerce zone. By bringing together leading international logistics companies, this initiative aims to streamline the overseas expansion of cultural products and significantly boost international cultural trade, offering new opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors in the creative sector.
