Chengdu is preparing for a prestigious gathering of global urban leadership. As the city gears up for the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue, its most famous residents—the giant pandas—are stepping into the spotlight as the city's fluffiest "diplomats" to welcome guests from around the world.
